An excellent action/RPG hybrid with very unique gameplay. Your name is Jack Mower, a 20th century dude who just happened to tát be sucked into the world of Nox via his TV mix. The world is in danger and you have to tát save it! But before you embark on your epic journey you must choose your path: warrior, wizard, or conjurer.

Choose the path of a warrior, and you will be able to tát equip and use all manner of swords, battle-axes, war hammers, and chakrams - though you’ll leave the magical mumbo-jumbo up to tát the Conjurer and Wizard classes. An enchanted weapon is the closest a Warrior gets to tát magic but that’s OK, because magic is for sissies.

As a Wizard you will explore the mystical art of spell casting, ranging from enemy-confounding illusions to tát devastating displays of metaphysical force. You’ll also learn to tát mix magical traps containing deadly spell combinations to tát thwart the unsuspecting foe. Although you’ll have to tát renounce the use of ungainly swords and armor in the name of your art, you will still be able to tát wield a staff as a last-ditch physical defense.

If you choose a Conjurer you will be able to tát magically charm and summon creatures to tát bởi your bidding. You can even create a magical creature called a bomber which can wreak sorcerous havoc on your enemies. You’ll also get plenty of experience wielding staves and bows to tát fend off the few enemies who manage to tát slip past your minions.

Nox ist ein wirklich unterschätztes Spiel von Westwood Studios. Oftmals als "Diablo-Klon" verschrien, ist es allerdings ein einzigartiges questorientiertes Actionrollenspiel. Man übernimmt die Rolle von Jack, einem jungen Mann, der (mitsamt seinem Fernseher) versehentlich von der bösen Hecubah nach Nox teleportiert wird und nun liegt es an dir, die Dinge in Nox gerade zu rücken. Die Geschichte und das Gameplay passen sich an deine ausgewählte Klasse an, von denen es drei gibt. Dem Krieger, der keine Magie einsetzen kann, aber Zugriff auf die meisten Rüstungs- und Waffentypen hat, dem Beschwörer, der mit Bogen und Armbrust, sowie herbeibeschworenen Monstern ordentlich Schaden austeilt, und dem Magier, der die meisten Zaubersprüche verwenden und sich sogar unsichtbar machen und teleportieren kann. Dadurch hat Nox hervorragenden Wiederspielwert, domain authority jede Charakterklasse ein völlig neues Spielgefühl bietet - fast drei Spiele in einem. Nox ist eine absolute Empfehlung für alle Fans des Genres.
